1959 to 42 Survey in Cyprus but I moved on to Aden
and never met him again.

Long time no see – it’s good to know that you’re alive and kicking
I’m responding to the 2 enquiries in the ‘Where are they now’ section of your excellent website – from Norm Brindle and Jim Harker – as to my whereabouts. Both were correct in their assumption that we (Chris and I) are still in Botswana but we will be repatriating shortly, after 35 years in darkest Africa; probably in mid-late April this year. In the interim, my contact details are: Private Bag 031, Selebi-Phikwe and ravens@botsnet.bw . The address from whence this originates is my alternative workplace at the Botswana Insurance Company in Francistown where I put in 2 days a week; the balance being spent conducting my survey practice – don’t ask; it’s a long story!
I was recently reminded about the existence of the REA Survey Branch by David Powell, whose practice I will be joining as a consultant on boundary disputes after I return. I hope to join the REA Survey Branch at that time – I’m a life member of the REA so I hope that this will be straightforward.
