Showing the Station Commanders Cup annual sports competition which had all units/sections
in RAF Episkopi partaking.
The hierarchy at RAF Episkopi could not understand how such a small unit could win the Trophy
(not realizing that such excellence was to be found in all RE Survey units)
The competition took place over a period of several months involving about ten sports in all.
A.S.L.S  won three of the events, Rugby 7's, Badminton and Swimming.
They were runners up in two more and third in one other. The lowest position in any event being 8th.
