In July 68 the Sgts Mess Committee of 42
Survey Engineer Regiment RE decided to invite all past RSM’s
to a reunion
which was held on 15th Aug 1968.

Ay suggestions for a collective noun for a gathering of RSM's
I wonder how many are
aware that George Whalley's father had been RSM of the Regiment
George was the instructor of many field surveyors, myself included,
during the fifties and sixties.
I became aware when speaking to Nick Carter just after the launch of
this site.
